This year’s in-person World Congress will include the usual didactic components – Pre-Congress Courses (optional) on Wednesday, General Sessions on Thursday through Saturday, Live Patient Viewing, and other optional courses and events. The Gala will take place Saturday evening.

SILATC and AMETREC will be holding an ancillary Live Surgery Workshop in the days prior to the World Congress (October 24-25, 2022).

Target Audience: Who will benefit from attending?
• Experienced hair restoration surgeons
• Physicians with an interest in hair restoration surgery who are new to the field
• Surgical assistants, technicians, and other office personnel employed by ISHRS Physician Members and Pending Members

COVID-19 Health & Safety Information for In-Person Meeting
The ISHRS will continue to monitor the most current information available and accordingly set its health and safety policy. At the moment, the following policy presides.

At present all congress attendees, including exhibit booth personnel, will be required to attest that they and any guests they bring to social events have met the standards of entry into Panama, which include being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by a scheme endorsed by the WHO, EMA, and FDA, or receiving a negative COVID-19 test, and/or 14-day quarantine.

All will also be expected to monitor their own health status and not attend the World Congress if symptomatic of COVID-19 in any way or if they believe they have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.

An attendee’s failure to comply with required safety protocols or follow the direction of the ISHRS staff on site may result in the loss of their right to attend or participate in the World Congress, including forfeiture of any registration fees paid.

CME
The meeting is not sanctioned for CME PRA Category 1 Credits. However, the meeting will comply as much as possible with the policies and best practices of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. All individuals in a position to control the content of the activity, including speakers and authors, moderators, and planning committee members, will properly disclose relevant financial relationships with any commercial interests pertinent to their talk or the subject of the meeting.

A certificate of attendance suitable for framing will be provided to all delegates.

Official Language
The official language of the meeting is English. One-way English-to-Spanish simultaneous interpretation will be provided during the General Sessions on Thursday, Friday, Saturday. The Focused Sessions slotted for the general session room will also have one-way simultaneous interpretation. Attendees wishing to utilize a simultaneous interpretation headset must advance register for this option via the registration process.

Meeting Attire
The attire for the in-person educational sessions is business. Attire for the Gala is formal, with black tie optional (evening gowns and suits/tuxedos). If you prefer, as a tradition of the ISHRS, you may wear a costume reflective of your native country for the Gala.

WiFi
Complimentary wifi is offered in guest rooms and the ISHRS meeting space.

The ISHRS fully complies with the legal requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the rules and regulations thereof. If any participant in this educational activity is in need of support services, please notify the ISHRS headquarters office at 1-630-262-5399 or info@ishrs.org as soon as possible, and preferably before October 1, 2022.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
In-person Meeting Registration:
All registration fees, less a $100.00 administration fee, will be refunded upon written notice of cancellation to the ISHRS office received on or before September 30, 2022.

There will be no refund of fees for cancellation or for lack of attendance without notification. It is your responsibility to ensure that your cancellation request has been received by the ISHRS headquarters office. All refund requests must be in writing. “No shows” who have not pre-paid will be invoiced for the total registration fee.

On-Demand Meeting Registration: All on-demand meeting registration fees, less a $100.00 administration fee, will be refunded upon written notice of cancellation to the ISHRS office received on or before October 14, 2022. No refunds will be given after this date.
