The SILATC (Iberolatinamerican Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) and the AMETREC (Mexican Association of Trichology and Hair Restoration) are organizing the 3rd biennial, and the 1st annual meeting, respectively, on October 24-25, 2022, at the Westin Playa Bonita Hotel in Panama City, immediately preceding the ISHRS World Congress.
The official languages of the Scientific Meeting are Spanish and Portuguese; there is no translation to English. The official languages of the Live Surgery Workshop are English, Spanish, and Portuguese (Surgery Teams).

Day 1: Scientific Meeting
We have organized a didactic hair restoration meeting to discuss “from A to Z” many topics related to hair restoration surgery. From Scarring to non-scarring alopecias, consultation and diagnostic. Our Keynote speaker is Dr. Matt Leavitt, he will talk about Female PHL and optimizing female hair transplant. Also, we will discuss the Medical and surgical treatments. Patient selection, Emergency therapies for hair loss, mesotherapy of the scalp, Tips for improving the HTS results, how to prevent and deal with complications and more.
Day 2: Live Surgery Workshop
Different Donor harvesting surgical techniques will be demonstrated. Donor strip and closure. Also FUE techniques, punches and devices, short and long cases, creation of the recipient sites, needles, blades and implanters will be demonstrated during this local live surgery demonstration. The surgeries will be at the Pacifica Salud, Hospital Costa del Este
