Dr Pascal J. Boudjema is a private practitionner in his office surgery located in Paris (France). His practice is dedicated exclusively to the Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. Boudjema received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Medicine of Paris (France) in 1986. He is qualified from the Institute of Stomatology and Facial Surgery of Paris. He entered in the field of hair restoration surgery in 1987 and has performed at yet more than 4000 hair transplant surgeries. Dr Boudjema has pioneered new techniques and patented new inventions in the hair transplant field such as the HTS CALVITRON TM (1992)first automated hair transplant machine, the Multi-bladed MICROTOM TM (1994) which cuts several hundred grafts in few seconds, the HAIR IMPLANTER PEN TM (1999) which allows soft placement of grafts into the scalp. He also invented the concept of motorized alternate rotation of the punch applied to the FUE technique (FUExtractor TM 2006). He has recently invented a new peripheral cutting punch to preserve graft integrity (2008). Those techniques have been published in medical books and journals, and have been presented in national and international scientific meetings.
